Rex will appear as guest soloist at the Music For All Festival and at the 2nd Annual Indiana Trumpet Guild Conference. On Saturday night he will perform Allen Vizzutti's "Three World Winds" on the MFA Chamber Music concert, and on Sunday evening he will perform Andy Scott's "Freedom of Movement" with the Indiana Wind Symphony. On this concert, Rex will also perform with Doc Severinsen (in Tony DiLorenzo's "Thoughts from the Stairwell") and with Larry Powell (in Kevin McKee's "Under Western Skies.").

Rex To Appear As Soloist at FMEA
Rex Richardson will perform the Florida premiere of James Stephenson's "Rextreme" Trumpet Concerto with the University of Florida Wind Ensemble at the Florida Muisic Educators Association/Florida Bandmasters Association Conference. Rex to appear at Norges Musikkhøgskole in Oslo
Rex Richardson will be hosted a the Norwegian Academy of Music by legendary trumpet artist and composer, Professor Anthony Plog.
Rex will present clinics and master classes in brass fundamentals, extended techniques, jazz improvisation and the music business.

Rex Richardson to appear at "Jazzland" - Vienna's oldest Jazz Club
Rex will be performing at Jazzland on April 26-29. On the 26th as as guest soloist with Marcus Ratka's "Chameleon Changes" band; on the 27th with with Thomas Kugi and the Triple Ace Trio, and on the 28th and 29th with the Vienna Jazz Orchestra. In addition to these performances, he will present workshops at JAM Music Lab and the Institute for Popular Music.
